Weekend Away

Since Rachael had Friday off school, and I had Thursday and Friday off for American Thanksgiving, we decided to head out to the Lodge at Kananaskis. Rachael and Jeanette went to the spa for a manicure and pedicure...



Then we went to Banff, where Rachael and Jeanette met Santa outside the Christmas Store...

Remembrance Day 2009

Rachael's school had a Remembrance Day Assembly. Rachael was asked to sing the national anthem at the beginning - over 500 students and a few hundred parents. There were a dozen veterans who preceded her into the auditorium led by a bagpipe player, and then Rachael sang Oh Canada.

Rachael at Ironwood Stage and Grill

Rachael had a great time performing again at the Ironwood Stage and Grill - she is getting more and more comfortable performing in public. She performed Don't Forget Me from her CD, as well as a new song - that is un-named still...
